This post comes (late, very very late!… my deepest apolgies to y’all!) as a small joke to Ron, one of my co-workers who enjoys working on Linux and lives blissfully virus-free.

A couple of months ago, another co-worker borrowed Ron’s USB memory stick to check out a few files and BAM! his Windows-XP-running computer was attacked by a random virus residing within those files… Cereless and rude indeed! (but funny given the poor guy’s face after he realized his mistake)

Anyway, I decided to immortalize such moment in this (not so regular… oops) webcomic-graphic advice-whatever place you visit.

When you are a big fan of a franchise, seeing it completely gutted in a major motion picture might seem like a personal blow slightly lessened by a simple act of agression such as slapping one of the many minions that tainted such franchise; some might call it “therapeutic” (or at least a little satisfying)

This was the stand taken by a friend of mine who’s webcomic inspired today’s strip (in case you’re wondering THIS is the strip: )

If you enjoy poking fun at pop-culture, a talking pork-chicken mutant and a small robot with perfect timing you’re gonna love this guy’s comic at www.joshcomic.com.

So remember: do not try this at home! (Hugh Jackman might not like being slapped and those arm-muscles of his look real to me… ouch!)

Horseshoes

This post reminds me of a childhood game of horseshoes that involved heavy iron horseshoes, a two feet tall pole, a 6’6′ ft tall (corrected. thanks Cuz) cousin warning another horseshoe-wielding unintenionally-clumsy cousin about the dangers of throwing “that thing” carelessly and hitting someone in the head… You can only imagine how THAT one went.

It is safe to say now that no good deed or intention goes unpunished, some warnings go unheeded and twelve years later “The Horseshoe Anecdote” is still funny.
